This is a (4) year course with an option for exemptions for those with a prior Diploma in Physiotherapy. The Program equips students with knowledge and skills to rehabilitate and improve people with movement impairments in order to promote health and well-being. Physiotherapists use clinical judgement and informed interpretation treatment to promote maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being. These approaches include use of exercises, electro-equipment, massage and hydrotherapy. However all the treatment is based on clinical judgment and informed interpretation.

Throughout the course of practice Physiotherapists can work in a wide array of health setting such as intensive care, mental illness, stroke recovery, occupational health, and care for the elderly and in addition they can also work in the community for community-based rehabilitation.   

Admission Requirements.

Direct entry candidates must have at least two principle passes at senior six in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

Diploma holders in Physiotherapy and/or other health related discipline
